It’s a unique concept, I know! Here in America, we’re used to 8 hours together, full of stress and rushed timelines. But, making it several days together slows the process and makes the experience intentional and memorable. We have weekend and weekday package options! Get ready for four days of just you and your guests on a mile stretch of private waters. If you want to spend more quality time with your family and friends, creating memories through experiences and adventure, then a multi-day wedding is for you. Weekend Weddings are from Thursday at 3:00pm to Sunday at 11:00am. Weekday Weddings are your choice of Sunday at 3:00pm to Wednesday at 11:00am or Monday at 3:00pm to Thursday at 11:00am!

What does a weekday Wedding look like?

Weekday weddings are just as romantic and adventure filled, but tend to be smaller and more intimate. Your check-in will be on Monday followed by a rehearsal, welcome dinner (check out our Instagram for some location ideas!) and finishing off with a fire on the beach. Tuesday is wedding day! This day is filled with getting ready, picture time, relaxing with your family, (throw in some yoga on the beach or a hike for ultimate fun) then end the day with your ceremony and reception. Wednesday is check out day and time to say your goodbyes. Even though it might a little smaller, still add on the cabins, and yurts to make it more of a family reunion feel!

The Venue, Accommodations & Resort Grounds

120 for the ceremony and reception is the comfortable number, For the cabins and yurts, they can sleep up to 85 guests.

Yes! We do have handicap ramps and a golf cart to take guests down to the beach should they need it.

Yes, we recommend the Fairfield Marriott in Morganton, NC. BMBR is just a 25 minute drive from the hotel. There are also Airbnb rentals in the area.

Please do not hesitate to ask us about our trolley that takes guests to and from the hotel!

There are 50 spaces and we have a parking attendant. There are also parking spots at each cabin and yurt.

We have a fun and unique trolley that can go to and from any hotel that seats 20. It is $150 per hour. Email us for more info!

Nope! We are in the Pisgah National Forest, where cell phone service does not reach.  We love this!  We want to invite you to put up ALL your devices and be present with your family.  Trust us, with 38,000 acres of rugged mountains surrounding us and beautiful Wilson Creek right at your finger tips, there is more than plenty to do! 

We do have Wi-Fi at the cafe, the Rock Pavilion and main deck area, the beach, and lounge area for anybody who needs to plug back into the world.

Booking Brown Mountain Beach Resort

Our calendar is fully open for 2027.

To save the date, a deposit is required. We do have payment plans of 25% and 50% down payments. We will break down the payments to have all completed 30 days prior to your wedding.

Because it is such a unique wedding experience, we do require a wedding planner. We have some amazing ladies on staff who know the grounds like the back of their hand and would love to help you plan. Whether you need day of coordination or help planning the complete wedding, we can customize a package for you. Have questions? Reach out here!

We also require a professional full staffed caterer during the reception. Why you may ask? This way, we know you are getting the best service and your food for the wedding is taken care of. Now, we know there will be a lot more meals than the reception, and we have thought of that. Each cabin has a full kitchen and yurts have kitchenettes with gas grills and flattops. We also have a communal grilling station with picnic tables if you wanted to do a family cookout and hangout by the fire. We also have tons of options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktail hour, late night snacks and more! ALL the fun treats!

The rest, we’ve got! From staff to put out cold beverages during the day or wrap up and clean up your personal things after the reception, or stoke the fires, rest assured that your seasoned staff will make sure your day is flawless.

You have full staff on site the entire time. They will be putting out tables, chairs, icing down drinks and making sure you and your guests are taken care of.

All payments that have been made are non-refundable.

Yes. Because we are in the national forest and adventure is our main event, we do require insurance for the time you are with us. Check out eWed insurance for a quote.

There is just our NC tax of 6.75%

Amplified music will need to be cut off by 10:00pm on your rehearsal night and 11:00pm on your reception night.

On the night of the rehearsal, we will stop serving at 10:00pm and on the night of your reception, we will stop serving at 11:00pm. From there, we do make a self serve bar and have a speaker so technically, you do not have to go home, you can sit by the fire on the beach with a self serve bar and a speaker. We will just start cleaning up then and we will clean up the self serve bar and the fire the next morning.

Wedding Planning

Since you have a whole staff onsite, we are constantly checking the weather and will work together to form a game plan the day of your wedding. From there, you can get married in front of our large stone fireplace in the rock pavilion, we light it up with tons of candles and it is so dreamy. After the ceremony, we will send the guests to the speakeasy for cocktail hour while our staff flips the space for dinner and dancing.

Yes! We do provide in-house catering. Let’s chat about menus and your feel for your wedding to come up with a customized menu for you!

Yes, you can bring your own caterer! We do have a vendor recommendation list if you need some help and there are no fees.

Nope!

Just no glitter or fireworks! Also, for taper candles, you will need a runner underneath.

Our staff and your wedding planner. Our staff will make sure all tables and chairs are set up correctly for each day and then your wedding planner will come in and decorate.

We are! This way you and your family/friends can hang out by the fire or hot tub. Your final night, our staff and in-house planner (should you choose us) will put all your personal items and any left over alcohol on a separate table for you to pick up in the morning before check out. We will also make sure florals, trash, alcohol and anything else that needs to be cleaned up, will be taken care of.

What’s not included in a BMBR wedding package

Yes, we include a lot for your wedding week/weekend! But here are the small details of things that you may want to add on. (Remember nothing is a requirement but a want!)

While we have an entire sound system that goes from the speakeasy to the deck to the beach and you have full range of that during your stay, you may want some dancing during your reception, so a DJ or a live band might be something you want!

Although we have so much decor in our catalog and you’re free to use any and all of it, and yes, I know we are surrounded by the beauty of the Pisgah, with flowers, and greenery everywhere, adding some pop of color to the tables, to hold while walking down the aisle, and all the little nooks and crannies and to give that wow moment could be a want you have!

Because you need someone to help you say I do!

You are here for multiple days, you need someone that is in charge, that “quarterbacks” your vision so that you are in the creek or in the hot tub or maybe hiking somewhere, and for that reason we do require a wedding planner.

We have some amazing ladies on staff who know the grounds like the back of their hand and would love to help you plan. Whether you need day of coordination or help planning the complete wedding, we can customize a package for you. Have questions? Reach out here!

Now, we know you are here for 4 days and 3 nights, so that means people want to eat. What we mostly see is you providing the rehearsal dinner and reception dinner, and then we provide the farewell breakfast for all your guests staying on site.

We also have a made to order cafe for all guests that is open from 8-5 each day you’re here. There are great breakfast, lunch and sweet treat options. If you would like to provide group meals, we can make that happen with our in house catering!

Also, know that there is a full grill and blackstone in the picnic area if you would like to grill out as well as full kitchens in the cabins for guests to utilize!

We can sleep 85 guests on site! While your Honeymoon suite, and two getting ready suites (sleeping 4-6 people each) are included, we do have 17 other units that guests can stay. Take a sneak peek inside suite one & suite two.

Regardless of if you have a small party that doesn’t rent out all the cabins and yurts, you will be the only ones on the grounds. The unrented cabins/yurts will simply remain vacant.

How it works:
All BMBR couples receive a Google Drive folder. This is where we do all of our planning and organization. In that Google Drive folder, you will see a page called “Wedding Details”. This is where you simply assign your family and friends to a cabin or yurt. From there, they become “regular guests” to us. This way, if they would like a charcuterie delivered to them, or they need a late check-in, or maybe a pack-and-play, we will handle all the small details with your guest eliminating you being the middle man.

And then of course there’s many other vendors you may want to include in your wedding experience such. as a photographer, videographer, hair and make-up artist, etc. These are not included in your wedding package but we have put together an expansive list of our amazing recommendations that you receive upon booking. We have connections with some incredible local vendors and we are always happy to help offer any tips and details to help you with these choices!
