Brown Mountain Beach Adventure Resort is full of wander, fresh air, relaxation and good for your soul walks.  Enjoy our coffee shop, hand made fired pizzas delivered to your yurt or cabin, walk the farm and hang out with the alpacas, enjoy tubing the river, or using a stand up paddle board and explore the gorge, or just take a nap in the hammock or read a book on the beach.  With a mile stretch of private waters, there are many options for the adventure seeker to the wanderer and nap extraordinaire alike!

While you are staying, if you need anything, there are a couple of places to find staff. At Check-in, however, if check-in is closed or during the weekday, you can find us at the A-frame house on the main deck. If you do not see anyone, please ring the bell inside the kitchen for assistance.

To promote family time and peace, Wi-Fi is only at the cafe, the Rock Pavilion and main deck area, the beach, and lounge area for anybody who needs to plug back into the world. Please feel free to explore the mile stretch of private waters, get a tube, kayak or canoe, and enjoy Wilson Creek. Explore some of the activities here!

Want to explore the Pisgah National Forest?

There is 38,000 miles of forest to explore! Numerous hiking trails lead to waterfalls and breathtaking mountain views. Wilson Creek Visitors Center has a 3D map of all trails in the national forest. Please visit them to get to know the Appalachia culture and hike/bike the trails! They are located just 4 miles up the gorge (follow the creek upward).

Nope!  We are in the Pisgah National Forest, where cell phone service does not reach.  We love this!  We want to invite you to put up ALL your devices and be present with your family.  Trust us, with 38,000 acres of rugged mountains surrounding us and beautiful Wilson Creek right at your finger tips, there is more than plenty to do!

We do have Wi-Fi at the cafe, the Rock Pavilion and main deck area, the beach, and lounge area for anybody who needs to plug back into the world.

No! We have all of your bedding, towels and toiletries. Bring a hair dryer if needed!

At the time of your booking, we actually take that cabin or yurt off the market for YOU! Since we are a small business who works very hard at making this a private and peaceful place, if for some reason you do have to cancel, we can not give a refund, but will change the dates of your reservation to the best of our ability. However, you do have the option to buy travel insurance when you book online!

Nope! But, we know the availability can be limited for a regular vacation stay. If you want to get added to our text thread click here. Just add your details and you’ll be one of the first to know if we have any openings!

Yes! We love all animals and Wilson Creek is a pet heaven! We do ask that they remain on a leash at all times. If you are bringing your pat with you, there is a $45 pet fee per a pet per unit.

Check in begins at 3 pm and Check out is at 10:30 am. If you would like to add an early check in (this is on an availability basis), early check-in begins at 12:00 pm. If you would like to add a late check out, late check out is at 2:00 pm

We have dining options at our cafe, click here for more details! But, you’re welcome to bring food and cooking supplies if you want. The cabins have full kitchens and the yurts have kitchenettes and grills.
