Some frequently asked questions before your vacation
What do I need to bring:
Food: Our cabins have full kitchens with pots and pans. The only thing you need to bring is food. If cooking is not an interest of yours, don't fret. We can set up in-cottage meals for you.
Linens: Nope! All of our cottages come with all linens, and towels.
Clothes: Wilson Creek is a place for fun lovers and outdoor enthusiast. Bring extra pairs of clothing. You will always find some swimming hole to play in or a hiking trail to get dirty in. Don’t forget your bathing suit!
Computer: Although our cottages do not have TV, we do have WiFi internet through out the resort.
Books: Lots of books! BMBR specializes in getting back to nature and getting back to yourself. You will find your stay to be very peaceful and away from lifes demands just in time to finish up your favorite novel.
What is there to do?
With the Pisgah National Forest as our back yard, there are numerous things to do. In the resort, we have lazy rapids, and a mile of lazy river, tube rentals, 27′ swimming and fishing hole, 1 mile stretch of private fishing waters, rope swing, horse shoes, our farm, horse back riding, and canoe trips. I want to see the Brown Mountain Lights: Then you have came to the right place! We are on Brown Mountain- you can walk or drive to many different hiking trails and sitting overlooks. Fishing: Your favorite fishing pole. Be sure to check out the NC Fishing Regulations before putting your pole in the water!

Brown Mountain OHV Trails: We are two miles from the OHV trails. Passes are $5.00 per vehicle per day. The Brown Mountain OHV area offers 34 miles of trail. This is the only OHV area on the Grandfather District. These trails are mostly designed for trail bikes and ATVs. Jeeps and 4WD vehicles are welcome as well. We are out in the Pisgah National Forest. Our main goal is for you to enjoy nature, get back to family and what matters most in this world. Even though we do not have cell phone service, we do have landline phones available for guests to use at anytime and for cases of emergencies.
